Anytime someone has a grave illness or severe disease we have empathy for them, that’s human nature, but at the same time we look to celebrate a life that is coming to an end, we must also be truthful and not cloud the reality. Senator Kennedy’s policies and much of the legislation he has introduced over the years has cost good Americans and small businesses dearly.
The liberal policies of Senator Kennedy run counter to common sense and rather than cite 25-examples here and now and fill up the page with disaster legislation pushed through by Senator Ted Kennedy, and out of respect for the gravely ill, I ask that you the reader do a little bit of research on your own. When politicians like Senator Barrack Obama call Senator Ted Kennedy their mentor or idol and say they will follow in their footsteps, you ought to realize exactly where those footsteps lead.
Whereas, I feel for any man who is losing his marbles, I also know that a decent man in such a situation would resign immediately, knowing that they cannot maintain their faculties. If Senator Kennedy does not resign he is not serving the people, rather he is serving his own ego.
Now then, Senator Kennedy may say he has unfinished work to do, but judging by the work he has done previously, I believe that we should leave that work, whatever it is undone. It’s time for Senator Ted Kennedy to resign, he should do so with dignity and by leaving now, everyone wins, the sooner the better.
