Basic First-aid For Your Outdoor Vacation

If you are planning an outdoor vacation and hiking is on your list of activities, it may be a good idea to refresh yourself on some basic first-aid. Three of the most valuable first-aid skills hikers can learn are CPR, the Heimlich maneuver and caring for fractures.

Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is used to return someone to normal breathing. Formal CPR training is much better, but here are some tips in the meantime that may help if an emergency occurs while hiking.

Sources Of The Cheapest Disney Tickets

There is a wide variety of the cheapest Disney tickets available; depending on the type of theme park tickets, you are interested in purchasing. The Orlando Park is quite a bit bigger than the California Park, so many of the discount offers apply only to the Florida location. The park gate is a good place to look to see if any are available and these are quite often the easiest option travelers have when looking for deals. Sometimes there are offers available only to residents of Florida and California for their respective parks. Other options include discounts for school trips, church groups, large parties and families.

Sick Of Eating Healthy?

When I read package labels in the supermarket, am I the only one who thinks I’m reading about “health” food? A food manufacturer makes his products low fat. That sounds healthy, right? Wrong. The products have so much sugar I could serve them for dessert.

I recently read that the average American eats two and a half pounds of sugar a week. First, who are these average Americans? If they eat that much sugar, shouldn’t they be easy to see? By eating natural sugar in things like apples - plus anything that means sugar because it ends in “ose” - plus man-made sugars like high fructose corn syrup, I supposedly see an average American every time I look in the mirror. How come if I’m constantly on a sugar high, I find this depressing?

Singapore Tourism And Travel Information

Singapore Tourism - A personal experience Over the last few decades, Singapore has become one of the most popular tourist destinations of Asia. I visited Singapore in 2006 on my way back from India. It turned out to be of one of the most memorable vacations that I have ever had. Unlike most of the other Asian countries Singapore is very well organised and has an excellent transportation system. There is so much to do in this small country that i wish i was able to spend some more time there. We got our booking done from singapore airlines itself which gave us a good deal on the hotel, we stayed on the Orchard Road which is one of the main attractions of the country. Most of the high end shops, bars and resturaunts are on the Orchard road itself and the nightlife is very good. We didn’t do anything much on the first day since we reached the hotel by the evening.

Take The Same Cruise Again? You Bet!

You’ve taken your first (or subsequent) cruise and are planning your next cruise - but nothing new really jumps out at you. Why not consider repeating a cruise you’ve taken in the past and absolutely loved?

It’s not as crazy as it might seem and to be honest, we’ve actually taken the same cruise three times!
You already know the ins and outs of the cruse ship, you are familiar with the ports you’ll be visiting, and you know from your previous visits to those ports which excursions (if any) to take. Don’t feel like taking the same excursions – don’t!
